The End For Now

So it's finally the end of the semester and time to wrap up my gardening for the winter. To say my garden didn't go as planned would be an understatement. I already elaborated last week on how everything except my microgreens and lettuce had failed to survive throughout the months. But just because my garden didn't grow doesn't mean that I didn't! I learned so much as a first-time gardener throughout this experience. The main lesson I learned was just how fragile plants are and how important it is to monitor all the nutrients and light they take in. Just one bad day in regards to sunlight or water intake could really hurt a plant, and I didn't know how big of a commitment gardening was going into it. I guess now I know why so many people have succulents that they only have to water twice a month! After the freeze for the winter, I am hoping to start a new garden wherever I move post-college. I am less intimidated by gardening now and know what to expect, I just have to be more cautious of my plants.

Below are my before and after photos. I wish I didn't have to include these because they're disappointing but it's all a learning lesson.
